Privacy Policy

VOLLEY · LAST UPDATED MAY 2026 · BROOKLYN

Volley is a private daily ritual for you and your people. This policy explains exactly what data moves through the service, what we read, and what we never touch.

HealthKit data

When you authorize Health access, the app reads only the following fields from workouts stored in Apple Health on your device:

These values pre-fill your lane when a heat is served to you. We read them locally. We never read steps, sleep, weight, location, routes, or any other HealthKit category. The app does not write any data back to HealthKit.

Treadmill and machine screen photos (planned)

The design calls for on-device vision processing so photos of workout machine screens never leave your device. This feature is not yet implemented in the current prototype.

End-to-end encryption for your card (planned)

The architecture is designed so that daily card data stays end-to-end encrypted between pact members. The current static prototype does not yet include backend sync or encryption.

Other information we collect

What we never do

We do not sell data. We do not show ads. We do not build profiles. We do not train models on your workouts. We do not share anything outside your pact. Your numbers belong to your people. That is the whole promise.

This is a static marketing prototype. Planned features include on-device HealthKit reading, on-device vision processing, and end-to-end encrypted cards between pact members. None of these are implemented in the current experiment.
